Wedding Band Contract Sample

Parties Involved:

Client: John and Jane Doe
Address: 123 Main Street, Anytown, USA

Performer: The Awesome Wedding Band
Address: 456 Music Avenue, Anytown, USA

Event Details:

The performance will take place at 789 Celebration Hall, 789 Party Lane, Anytown, USA, on December 15, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Payment Terms:

The total fee for the performance is $2,000, payable as a deposit of 50% upon signing this contract and the remaining balance due no later than 7 days before the event date.

Performer Responsibilities:

The band agrees to arrive at least 2 hours prior to the performance, bring necessary equipment, and perform at the agreed-upon times, maintaining professionalism throughout the event.

Cancellation and Refunds:

If either party cancels more than 30 days before the event, deposits will be fully refunded. Cancellations less than 30 days prior will forfeit the deposit unless due to unforeseen circumstances.

Governing Law:

This contract shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of Anytown courts.

Additional Provisions:

  • The client agrees to provide adequate space and electricity for the band’s performance.
  • This agreement may be amended only in writing signed by both parties.
  • Any damages caused by the client or guests to equipment or property will be the responsibility of the client.
