Film Editor Contract Sample

Project Details:
The work involves editing the film project titled “Sunset Dreams,” scheduled for completion by August 15, 2024, or other projects as may be mutually agreed upon in writing.
Compensation Terms:
The editor shall receive a fee of $10,000 payable in installments: 50% upon commencement and 50% upon delivery of the final edited film, subject to timely completion.
Editor’s Responsibilities:
The editor agrees to deliver the edited footage in accordance with the project’s specifications, deadlines, and industry standards, maintaining regular communication with the client.
Governing Law:
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in Los Angeles County courts.
Additional Provisions:
